In an era of rapidly rising post secondary education cost, Ogeechee Technical College continually strives to provide high quality technical education at an affordable price. To accomplish these ends, the college seeks to establish strategic partnerships with foundations, government, local business and industry, and other grant making sources. The Ogeechee Technical College Office of Grant Development provides technical assistance for obtaining supplementary funding to meet college goals and objectives. Through grant awards donors are able to sponsor programs that have a direct impact on the learning outcomes of students in a given vocational field.
Office of Grant Development (OGD) at OTC
This is the office through which faculty, staff, and administrators may begin the grant-seeking process. OGD provides help identifying funding opportunities, gives feedback on grant proposals, and helps with the application process, among other services. OGD serves as the first point of contact for faculty seeking external funds. The office will review project/program concepts with faculty and seek possible sources of support on their behalf. From time to time, concepts may be forwarded to the Ogeechee Tech Foundation’s Advancement Office for consideration as a fundraising possibility.
