Description:
Responsible for teaching courses in the Logistics Specialist program. Under general supervision, prepares lesson plans and develops program and syllabi, goals and objectives. Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives. Maintains program certification requirements, as appropriate. Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports. Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area. Meets with students, staff members and other educators to discuss students’ instructional programs and other issues. Assists with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts. Stays abreast of industry trends and related local needs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a closely related field. A minimum of two years work experience in Logistics or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Logistics or a closely related field or a Master’s degree with a concentration (18 graduate semester hours) in Logistics or a related field. Teaching experience.

Required Qualifications:
Esthetician and/or Cosmetologist license and at least 2 years experience. Knowledge of State Board requirements on practical application and written testing required. If applicant does not currently hold the Instructor's License, must be willing to work the required 1500 hours in order to complete the Instructors Exam for Instructor License. Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current Instructor's license.

Description:
Instructor will provide classroom instruction for a class at Claxton High School and Screven County High School. Under general supervision, prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction and delivers instruction to high school students in the Patient Care Assisting program. Develops program and syllabi, goals and objectives. Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals, objectives, and state certifications. Requests and maintains supplies and equipment. Maintains program certification requirements, as appropriate. Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports. Attends staff development training, workshops, seminars and conferences. Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area. Candidate must have or be willing to attend Train-the Trainer meeting.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must have a minimum of a current Georgia Practical Nursing license or a Georgia Registered Nurse license. Candidate must have one year nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Work experience in a teaching/learning environment is preferred. Long-term care experience preferred.
