Under general supervision, performs administrative duties for the Vice President for Administrative Services. Responsible for coordination of office and administrative activities associated with support to the Vice President; interprets operating policies; locates and compiles information and formats reports; exercises independent judgement in the resolution of administrative problems; monitors use of and maintains supplies, equipment and/or facility needs; assists with special events planning; may include making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and financial data, training other support staff, and supervision of work study students.
High School diploma or GED. Minimum of two years of experience in performing advanced level administrative support. Knowledge and experience in the use of the Internet, E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Requires strong computer skills. Position calls for flexibility and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as students and customers.
•A diploma or Associate’s degree is Business Office Technology or a related field. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
