Ogeechee Tech Vet Tech Program
Hosts Open House

The Veterinary Technology program at Ogeechee Technical College hosted its annual open house on Saturday, October 13 on the college campus.  Vet Tech instructors and students gave tours of the classroom and lab areas of the program, and demonstrated techniques learned in the program on a variety of stuffed animals posing as “patients”.

A reception also provided a time to visit and discuss the challenges and successes of participation in the popular program of study at Ogeechee Tech.  Dr. Janice Grumbles, Vet Tech Program Director stated, “This is a great way for our students’ family and friends to see what the students go through in our program.  It is also a fun way for the students to spend time together outside of an actual classroom or clinical setting, while also demonstrating some of the skills they are learning.”

Students, family, and friends enjoy the reception.
