LifeLink of Georgia representative
Ogeechee Technical College Funeral Service Education students were visited recently by Anthony Fulton, Hospital Development/Funeral Home/Coroner Liaison for LifeLink of Georgia. LifeLink is a procurement agency which coordinates the donation of human organs and tissue when an individual, or their family, chooses to donate to benefit those in need of life-saving procedures. “Funeral directors are often some of the first individuals to see a family after they lose a loved one. Ensuring that funeral service personnel are familiar with organ and tissue donation, and that they support our efforts, is vital to LifeLink being capable of helping so many people,” stated Fulton.
