OTC Sand-rail parades at Peanut Festival Ogeechee Technical College instructors, Shane Todd (left) and Allen McDaniel took to the streets of Brooklet on Saturday, August 21, for the annual Brooklet Peanut Festival parade. Reported to be the largest crowd ever, throngs of people were on hand to cheer the parade entrants, sample peanuts, and participate in a variety of activities. Ogeechee Tech’s sand rail, an open- bodied dune buggy which was built as a project of several programs at the College, is used to raise awareness about the College.
